Set up hours in general will be Monday, Jan. 20 from 12:00pm – 5:00pm and Tuesday, Jan. 21 from 6:00am – 7:00pm. Your specific set-up time within these dates/times will be assigned by Northern Green and provided in advance.
Yes, there will be scheduled move out times provided by Northern Green to ensure safe, timely and efficient move out for exhibitors. Your specific move out time will be provided in advance of the show.
The answer to hanging items depends on where your booth is located. Please reach out to Northern Green staff if you’re interested in hanging something and we’ll get you connected to RiverCentre staff who can help provide appropriate information.
There are fewer dock spaces than in previous years. Typically dock passes are only provided to Northern Green’s top tier sponsors. But if you have a specific need, please reach out to Northern Green staff and we will do what we can to help find a viable solution.
We have reserved space in St. Paul College Lot D for large equipment and vehicles. Please note: Northern Green will NOT be providing shuttles in 2025.
Yes, there is access to drive vehicles into booths in Upper and Lower Wilkins. However, because each exhibit hall has only one door to drive into, most vehicles will be loaded/unloaded in a staging area near the door.
Yes, you can be in this area no matter what your specialty area is. Some exhibitors are choosing to have a booth near the entrance area but also have a booth within their specialty area section of the floor as well which is another option to consider.
Booth rental includes:
- 8’ high pipe and drape back.
- 3’ high draped side rails.
- One 7” x 44” booth company identification sign.
- Free high-speed internet is available throughout the facility (intended for light exhibitor use, such as checking email, browsing the internet, or displaying web sites).
Please note that booth rental does NOT include:
- Tables, chairs, booth carpeting, or other furniture for your booth. These items can be rented through the show decorator in advance or onsite, or brought in by your company. You should have already received an email from our trade show decorator, Fern. Their OneView portal allows you to order any carpet or furnishings needed for your booth. If you haven’t received your link to Fern OneView, email Jessica Mulheron at jmulheron@fernexpo.com.
- Electricity. Order through the Saint Paul RiverCentre in advance or onsite.
- High Speed Wired Internet Line. Order through Saint Paul RiverCentre in advance or onsite.
A limited number of free passes come with booth rental as outlined below:
- 1 booth rented = Four (4) free Trade Show Only Passes.
- 2 booths rented = Eight (8) free Trade Show Only Passes.
- 3-4 booths rented = One (1) free education pass + twelve (12) free Trade Show Only Passes.
- 5-7 booths rented = Two (2) free education passes + sixteen (16) free Trade Show Only Passes.
- 8-10 booths rented = Three (3) free education passes + thirty-two (32) free Trade Show Only Passes.
NOTE: If you require more than the allotted free passes, you will be invoiced accordingly.

Need electricity for your booth? You can order it directly through RiverCentre using their online exhibitor services portal.
Product demonstrations including fire are allowable provided the propane is in a maximum 5-pound containers. You’ll also need to have a fire extinguisher in your booth. The fire marshal will come through on Tuesday and/or Wednesday of Northern Green week to inspect booths. To ensure compliance, the official St. Paul guidelines are here (see #11): “Propane inside assembly occupancies shall be limited to 5-pound containers, 20 feet apart. Propane must be in approved containers, and connections must be inspected and approved.”
Saint Paul RiverCentre has free, venue-wide Wi-Fi available for all events. Exhibitors and guests can easily connect to the Wi-Fi network by selecting “RC_FreeWiFi” from among the connection options appearing on their device. Note that wireless internet use is available for casual attendee or light exhibitor use, such as checking email, browsing the internet or displaying websites.
Display vehicles and equipment exhibited inside the building, including any gas-powered items, must have gas caps taped or locked and batteries disconnected, and shall not be fueled in the building. Fuel in the fuel tank shall not exceed 1/4 of the tank capacity or 5 gallons, whichever is less. MSFC 314.4
Exhibitors needing forklifts to load/unload booth materials may use their own forklifts for move in before 2pm on Monday, Jan. 20 and for move out after 3:30pm on Thursday, Jan. 23. If you need a forklift at another time, you’ll need to arrange/schedule forklift services through Fern by emailing Jessica Mulheron at jmulheron@fernexpo.com or you can also hire a forklift onsite at the Fern desk.
